To mark our excitement for a truly ‘Spooky’ time in Swindon this year, we’ve put together a guide to the best Halloween events in and around town, setting you up with a curious and possibly terrifyingly list of spooky things to do.
HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR AT CARITE
Date: Saturday 31st October
Time: 4:30pm – 7:30pm

This year, we’re transforming our showroom into our most immersive Halloween experience yet, and we’re already busy creating the props and decorations!
Wills Pizza Revolution and Cheeky Pancakes will be returning, serving FREE portions for everyone – so dinner is covered before you head out trick or treating!
Our Pumpkin Carving Competition is also back, with Smyths Toys vouchers up for grabs for the TOP 3 pumpkins!

Coco Halloween Outdoor Cinema at Lydiard Park in Swindon
A fantastic Halloween Outdoor Cinema Experience at Lydiard Park in Swindon with a screening of Disney Pixar’s Coco!
Bring a blanket or camping chair, wrap up warm, and experience the magic of Coco on a giant cinema screen.

Wiltshire Treehouse – Halloween Hunt (Old Town Gardens):
Spooky fun for the kids at Old Town Gardens!… Why not join Wiltshire Treehouse at their family friendly Halloween Hunt on 31st October from 2pm-4pm!
Find the spooky clues hidden around the park, solve the puzzle and claim your prize! Every child will receive a Halloween treat!
The Hunt will open at 2pm from the bandstand (next to the kiosk near to Quarry Road), where your trail map can be collected. Once completed make your way back to the bandstand before 4pm to collected your goodies.
- Purchase your tickets online to avoid disappointment. Any remaining tickets will be sold on the day on a first come first served basis however this cannot be guaranteed.
- Parents/carers will need to stay with their children/young people at all times as Wiltshire Treehouse takes no responsibility for children/young people left unattended.

Family Halloween Party at The Kings Head Hotel – Cirencester:
Get ready for a spooktacular evening at the Kids Halloween Party on Friday, 30th October at the Kings Head Hotel!
Join us for an evening of spooky fun for the little ones, including DJ, disco, and family fun games. From 4pm to 6pm, £5 per child (2 – 12 years old).
We’re transforming the Vaulted Cellar into a halloween haunt for the kids with activities & treats galore!
Dress up in your best costume and come along for a night packed with fun, including the Monster Mash Dance Party, an Apple Bobbing Challenge, a Costume Contest with awesome prizes, spooky games, and plenty of surprising treats.
So bring your friends and family and join us, if you dare, for a night full of giggles, games, and ghostly fun!

Howl-oween Presented by The Old Bell Hotel
Join us for Howl-oween presented by The Old Bell Hotel: a spooktacular dog parade, local stalls, delicious food and family fun!
Get ready for a frightfully fun afternoon as The Old Bell Hotel brings Howl-oween to Malmesbury!
Taking place in The Cloister Gardens, Malmesbury, on Saturday 31st October, from 12pm–3.30pm, this joyful autumn event brings together dogs, families, local residents and visitors for a Halloween celebration whilst raising money for a local animal charity.
People can expect:
- A dress-up dog parade and costume competition (dress up optional)
- Prizes for the spookiest pooches and lots of other fun categories including waggiest tail, best senior, best human and dog duo and of course best in show!
- Trick-or-treat fun throughout the afternoon
- Dog-friendly stalls
- Local artisan market
- Pet portrait opportunities
- Delcious food and drink including Frankenfurters and Beastly Burgers, hot roasted cheastnuts, warm spiced apple punch, toffee apples and plenty more seasonal treats, along with dog friendly bites and puppachinos!

Pumpkin Carving at Roves Farm:
Open 23rd October – 31st October
Join in the Halloween fun on a family day out at Roves Farm near Swindon this October half term. Put on your most fiendish fancy dress costumes to add to the excitement and see whether you win a prize.
Potion Show Live: Join our witches and wizards as they attempt to master the skill of potion making.
Dates: 26th October to 1st November – (One show per day only)
Pumpkin Carving: Head on over to Roves Farm indoor pumpkin patch to select from the hundreds on display in the barn. Then carve a design and take your masterpiece home with you.
Monsters Ball: Get your groove on at our mini disco. Dress to impress, for our fancy dress competition.
