Renault loves motor shows. Each one is an opportunity for the brand to nurture its special connection with customers, motoring enthusiasts and the general public, and to share its vision of mobility.

At the Paris Motor Show, Renault is celebrating the spirit of voitures à vivre and presenting a fully renewed line-up, reflecting a technological strategy based on two pillars: electric and hybrid. With a comprehensive range of electrified vehicles, designed to meet new customer needs and lifestyles, Renault is pursuing its ambition to develop cars that are innovative, desirable and designed for everyday life. Cars that combine innovation with emotion, and an unwavering focus on the added value delivered to customers.

And because voitures à vivre are designed to coexist alongside their customers, the brand is maintaining a dynamic of continuous progress, with recently launched vehicles that are already evolving to deliver even more value. New models new technologies and a new generation of batteries demonstrate Renault’s commitment to the continuous improvement of its voitures à vivre. This momentum is also driving continuous product improvements, from the introduction of LFP batteries across the entire electric range to make electric mobility more accessible, to One Pedal driving for an easier everyday driving experience. Gemini, Google’s artificial intelligence, is another major step forward, further enhancing the connected in-car experience. It will be rolled out via over-the-air updates, allowing vehicles already on the road to benefit without having to visit a workshop. Twingo E-Tech electric is another example of this continuous improvement approach. Just a few months after its commercial launch, it is gaining the Twingobay panoramic glass roof, bringing even more natural light into the cabin for both front and rear occupants.

This strategy can be seen on the Renault stand with a number of new models, including new Megane E-Tech electric, new Trafic E-Tech electric, the limited-edition Rafale hypnotic and a hyper-customised version of Renault 5 Turbo 3 E.

The brand will also be showcasing three concept cars, including Renault E-Space Concept, making its global debut and opening new possibilities for travel and family mobility in the electric era.

An iconic model to explore possible futures

With E-Space Concept, Renault is rebooting the spirit of Renault Espace, a model first launched in 1984 that has left its mark on automotive history.

More than 40 years on, E-Space Concept is a future-focused vision of the original, true to the approach that has always set Renault apart: innovating for the benefit of people, human emotion and the in-car experience.

This contemporary twist on the spirit of voitures à vivre fully illustrates Renault’s brand markers while taking them to the next level: Design to be loved, Electrified by passion, Human-first tech and Crafted space.

With its iconic design and useful technologies, E-Space Concept embodies the brand’s futuREady strategy: reinventing the automotive experience by placing user needs and the in-car experience at the heart of the design process.

The “E” in E-Space refers directly to E-Tech, which stands for Electrified Technology, Renault’s umbrella name for electrification. And the word “Space” brings to mind an interior that is generously sized, high-tech and welcoming.

Renault E-Space Concept is a spectacular car, 4.70m long with bodywork in an elegant shade of black rubé. Its generous proportions and expressive design reflect a new approach to the design of family cars.

The concept car features a wide “U”-shaped light strip at front and rear, outlining the vehicle’s contours. In the centre of the front end, an illuminated diamond appears to float in space, as if suspended in a subtle interplay of pixels.

E-Space Concept will be unveiled on 12 October.
