Swindon Pickleball have announced the expansion of its social Pickleball sessions to Wednesday evenings, hosted at Delta Tennis Centre.

This new session runs from 7pm to 9pm, adding to the already successful Monday evening sessions, which regularly see 48 players enjoying the game across 10 courts.

Due to popular demand and the fantastic support of Delta Tennis Centre, the Wednesday session has been introduced to cater to the growing number of players eager to get involved in the sport.

The social sessions, which are designed to welcome players of all standards, offer a relaxed, inclusive environment where participants can improve their game while having fun.

Shaun Jones, organiser of Swindon Pickleball, explained the ethos behind the sessions: “If people want to play competitively, there are other sessions for that. We are about enjoying the sport in a fun atmosphere.” The sessions are perfect for newcomers who’ve never picked up a paddle before, as well as those who enjoy the social side of pickleball.

The club prides itself on its community spirit, ensuring everyone gets the opportunity to play with and against a range of players, no matter their skill level. This makes it an ideal environment for improving techniques and enjoying the sport in a friendly, relaxed setting.
