Swindon Town fell to defeat at the Nigel Eady County Ground as Ian Holloway made four changes to his side as the Reds lost 2-1 to MK Dons.
Ryan Tafazolli won the ball on the halfway line before finding captain Ollie Clarke, who was denied taking the lead by an excellent save from MK Dons keeper Craig MacGillivray.
The Reds continued to search for the opener as Will Wright found an excellent ball through to Junior Hoilett, whose cross found Aaron Drinan; however, MacGillivray made another good stop to deny Town.

With ten minutes left to play until the break, Alex Gilbey struck from 25 yards out, with his strike taking a deflection to find its way into the net to take the leadfor the visitors.

Connor Ripley played a free kick deep into the attacking half, which eventually found Aaron Drinan, who laid it off for Ollie Clarke to level the score shortly after the break for the Reds.
Ollie Clarke played a ball into the area, which found its way to Aaron Drinan on the far side, who looked to slot it past Craig MacGillivary, however the keeper denied the forward once again.
Aaron Drinan continued to push for a winner as he beat his defender to get on the end of a long ball along the left flank before driving through on goal, however.
With ten minutes left to play, Ben Wiles picked up the ball before firing a dangerous delivery into the box with Scott Hogan fighting to meet it, before flicking the ball onto the defender Marvin Ekpiteta, who headed it past Connor Ripley.

Swindon Town now looks ahead to a midweek trip to Kent as Ian Holloway’s side take on Gillingham, as Town look to get back to winning ways at Priestfield Stadium.
