Bank Holiday Weekend Sorted!… So grab your hat, put on your boots and scoot, heel stomp and slide over to Swindon’s country music bar, The Honky Tonk, on Victoria Road for three nights of live country music!
Kicking off on Friday night, with Clint Fisher who will be well known to many country fans from Swindon, having played at the Honky Tonk on a number of times in the past year. Hailing from Tennessee, Clint has cut the cloth as a country singer, performing around the world and opening for artists such as Love and Theft, Buddy Jewell and Charlie Worsham, bringing a seamless mix of country, rock and pop to every performance, with a mix of covers and his very own original music.

Saturday see’s ‘The Girl in Black’ Kelly-Ann, known to most of you as Kelly Sings Country performing live for you to give a woman’s touch to this weekend. Kelly has been performing live as a country singer for only just over a year, and has literally burst onto the UK Country Music Scene travelling all over, playing at well known country music bars such as Lil Nashville in London, Dakota Saloon in Weston Super Mare, and Low Places in Birmingham to name a few. Kelly has also been ask to fly over to Nashville to perform in the beating heart of country music!

To wrap up this mega weekend of live country music, on Sunday, check out Chris Ray who is a new face to Swindon’s Honky Tonk, but just like Clint, Chris has cut the cloth in the world of country music. Hailing from Austin Texas, Chris Ray has performed in Texas Dive Bars and Dancehalls for 20years, wooing crowds with tales of heartache, hard whiskey, and highways that stretch forever with his sand-paper smooth voice and grit of a roadhouse troubadour in his guitar.
Now based in Kent, in the South East of England, after following his flame across the Atlantic has quickly become a popular fixture in British pubs, offering a slice of the American South.
