An anniversary year between heritage and vision for the future, founded on June 22nd 1955, Alpine has celebrated 70 years of history throughout the year, marked by performance, driving pleasure, elegance, and a uniquely French sporting spirit.
A milestone year punctuated by major international events, from Dieppe to Goodwood, from Le Mans to Rétromobile and throughout all key markets, bringing together iconic models from the past and present. Alpine celebrates seventy years of history, marked by performance, elegance, and a distinctively French vision of motorsport.
An international celebration bringing together past, present and future, driven by iconic models and exclusive creations.
Seventy years of performance, elegance, lightness, and passion: Alpine celebrates an extraordinary story. Born from the vision of Jean Rédélé, the brand has continuously embodied a singular spirit—a French spirit of boldness, precision, refinement, and driving pleasure – etched into every one of its production and competition models.
DIEPPE, THE CRADLE OF A HISTORIC CELEBRATION
In May 2025, Dieppe, Alpine’s historic birthplace, became the beating heart of this celebration. Thousands of enthusiasts gathered to pay tribute to seven decades of sportiness. In the city streets, legendary silhouettes and contemporary models came together, embodying a rare continuity between past, present, and future.
A highlight of the event was the exclusive unveiling of the A390 sport fastback, a new expression of Alpine’s expertise. The A290 range was also on display, alongside a remarkable limited edition created for the occasion: the A110 R 70, dressed in blue, white, and red. A creation that reflects continuity without nostalgia, demonstrating Alpine’s ability to look firmly to the future while fully embracing its roots.
GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED
At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Alpine showcased the full richness of its sporting DNA. Highlights included the world premiere runs of the A290 Rallye, the UK dynamic demonstration of the Alpenglow Hy6 featuring its hydrogen-powered V6 engine, as well as the spectacular A110 R Ultime and the brand-new A390 sport fastback. The BWT Alpine Formula One Team delivered daily high-adrenaline demonstrations of the brand’s racing heritage.

RÉTROMOBILE 2026: HERITAGE BROUGHT TO LIFE
At Rétromobile 2026, Alpine highlighted its exceptional heritage through a dedicated scenography. Two iconic berlinettes – one production model and one competition car – evoked, particularly the 1973 World Rally Championship title. Alongside them, the A110 R Ultime embodied a contemporary vision of performance, radical design, and exclusivity, supported by a highly refined personalization program.
A CELEBRATION SHARED WITH ENTHUSIASTS
This anniversary was also celebrated at Le Mans Classic, before a particularly large and knowledgeable audience, both in the paddock and on track, where collectors and drivers showcased historic models.
Around the world, clubs, associations, partners, and the Alpine network extended this momentum, allowing visitors to discover a unique journey made of passion, victories, and challenges.
A BRAND GAINING MOMENTUM
This year forms part of an ambitious development strategy for Alpine. Now present in 25 markets, the brand continues its expansion, with its network set to grow from 210 to 300 sales points by the end of 2026, and a lineup built around three key models:
- the Alpine A290, a sporty city car already a bestseller,
- the Alpine A390 sport fastback,
- and the next generation of the Alpine A110, expected in 2027.
AN ARTISTIC PERSPECTIVE ON THE ALPINE SPIRIT
As the culmination of this celebration, Alpine unveils an original photography booklet by photographer and artist Axel Ruhomaully.
Through his work on light and shadow, the lines of Alpine models are elevated, offering a distinctive and sensitive interpretation of their design.
This collection, featuring part of the Alpine Collection, stands as a true visual memory, complemented by a retrospective video of this exceptional year.
A STORY JUST BEGINNING…
Thus concludes an exceptional chapter, opening onto new horizons. The Alpine collection currently includes over 30 models and is continually expanding. Because at 70 years old, Alpine has never felt so young!
