The Carabao Cup Round One Draw took place live on Sky Sports News on Thursday 25th June, as part of the EFL’s Fixture Release Day. Swindon drew Cardiff City, with the tie kicking off at 3pm on Saturday 8th August away at Cardiff City Stadium.

Presented by Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth, former Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United midfielder Kevin Nolan joined former Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest defender, Luke Chambers in picking out the balls.

The Championship side last season reached the Quarter Final stage of the competition, narrowly loosing against Chelsea in a sold out game will be a tough first round in the cup for Swindon.

·       Round Five: w/c 14 December 2026

·       Semi-Final First Leg: w/c 11 January 2027

·       Semi-Final Second Leg: w/c 1 February 2027

·       Final: Sunday 21 March 2027
