Award-winning Swindon band Talk In Code announce new single with a launch party at The Victoria, Old Town.
Bridging the gap between eighties new wave electronica and nineties indie pop, Swindon based four-piece Talk In Code release their new single “What I’ve Been Missing” with a huge launch party at The Victoria, Old Town on Saturday 17th October.
Talk In Code took home six awards at the 2025 Wiltshire Music Awards, including Best Original Band, and Best Original Song. They have 1 million+ streams, 3 million views, and 35 radio ‘A’-list adds.
Frontman Chris Stevens said “Swindon is our base, we rehearse here and we have played so many shows here over the years, it was a natural choice to have our single release show at The Victoria. The Vic is an incredible grassroots venue and the support we have had from the venue, and the people of Swindon over the years has not gone unnoticed.”
Drummer Jamie O’Sullivan said “over 30 grassroots music venues closed last year, and over half of them make no profit. It’s so important for people to support these venues otherwise who knows what the future will look like for new bands and original music? We hope you’ll join us at The Vic on Saturday 17th October, it’s going to be one hell of a party!”
