Helping to raise funds for The Swindon Shuffle in 2027

It’s time for another edition of The legendary Shuffle Music Quiz!

The plan is more than likely the same as usual, cos if it isn’t broke etc. So, all the usual rounds will be present and (in)correct, there will be plenty of great music alongside the mediocre questions, and as usual a lot of annoying banter, tomfoolery, bad humour and shambolic behaviour in the serious pub quiz for those who hate serious pub quizzes.

Registration will take place from 5.30pm, with the questions starting around 6pm. Entrance is £2 per person (all going to Prospect Hospice) and a max team size is 6, as usual (f it aint broke…)

Swinging Birds are ending this year’s Music in the Parks season with a bang -and we’d love you there to help us see it off in style.

Join us for an afternoon of top tunes in the beautiful Bandstand, Old Town Gardens, Swindon SN1 4HB. Expect feel‑good favourites, sunshine vibes (fingers crossed) – something for everyone.

Silver Lining

Silver Lining is a 5 piece band covering folk and well-loved classics. Formed in Swindon and recently gigged in Old Town and at various open mics.

Live music is scheduled to start at 2pm. Entry is FREE to all, although we’d love it if you could support our museum by buying some refreshments at our tearoom, where we serve a range of cakes and hot drinks at very reasonable prices.

There is some parking available on Day House Lane, and paid public parking at Coate Water Country Park. Parking at the museum is reserved for volunteers and the disabled.
