Swindon Cricket Club Family Fireworks & Bonfire
An evening of family-friendly autumnal celebration!
Date: Saturday 8th November 2025
Gates open: 5pm to soak up the atmosphere.

The details:
- Family-friendly music will be played by our DJ from the pavilion.
- Small fun-fair rides will provide further entertainment for the kids – alongside sweet treats by Scarrots Circus.
- Stilt walkers and The Bubble Master will be mingling with the crowd.
- Our bar will be open, serving alcohol for adults and hot / soft drinks to all.
- One Love Catering, Caribbean Kitchen and the SCC Hotdog Stand will provide hot food from 5pm.
- The bonfire will be lit and then we will enjoy the main event big fireworks show performed by Distant Thunder.
- We will remain open afterwards for a more relaxed bonfire atmosphere.
A very limited number of disabled parking spaces will be made available – a Disabled Car Parking ticket must be purchased in advance. You will not be able to access the site via vehicle without the correct ticket and a blue badge. We would ask you consider your groups physical disability needs. If able-bodied, please purchase a standard ticket at the same price.
*We are operating as a card/contactless only venue on the night.
This event has sold out every year, so please book your tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment and take advantage of the earlybird rate. We will not sell tickets on the door.
We will not be committing to bonfire lighting or fireworks launch timings in advance of the evening. We will follow similar timings to previous years. It is subject to the conditions and advice of the technical safety team by Distant Thunder.

Lydiard Firework Spectacular
Swindon North District Scouts Firework Spectacular at Lydiard Park, Swindon.
Lydiard Park Fireworks is one of Swindon’s favourite annual events, bringing together families, friends and the local community for an unforgettable evening of entertainment. From the moment the gates open, you’ll find a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food and drink, live entertainment, a traditional bonfire and a spectacular fireworks display.
Organised entirely by volunteers from Swindon Scouts, Lydiard Park Fireworks is a not-for-profit community event. Every ticket helps support local Scouting across Swindon and Wiltshire, creating more opportunities for young people to discover adventure, develop skills for life and find their place to belong.
Whether you’re continuing a family tradition or visiting for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you for a memorable evening at Lydiard Park.

Highworth Fireworks Display
Date: Friday 6th November 2026
Gates open: 6pm with fireworks starting at 7:30pm
Advanced Tickets: £8per adult, £5per child.
Tickets on the night: It is advised to purchase tickets prior to the event to avoid disappointment on the night.
Tickets are on sale now for this years event on 6th November. This is a ticket only event, and can be purchased ahead of time at the following locations.

Shrivenham FC Fireworks
Date: Saturday 7th November
Shrivenham Football Club’s firework display will take place at the Shrivenham FC Recreation Ground.
The event is priced at £10 per adult and £5 for children aged five to 16. Under 4s can enter free of charge.
We’re bringing back bonfire night at Shrivenham FC, and we’d love you to be there for it. Bring the family, wrap up warm and come and spend the evening with us at the club.
Doors open at 4pm, so there’s plenty of time to grab a drink and something to eat before the main event at 7pm, a professional display set to music. There’ll be food on the go and the bar will be open all night.
All welcome, and it’s a great chance to see the clubhouse if you’ve not been down before.

Penhill Park FREE Fireworks Display
Date: Thursday 5th November
Central Swindon North Parish Council is offering one of the few completely free firework events in Swindon.
Taking place at Penhill Park on Thursday, November 5, the event has no entry fee and will take place from 5pm until 7.30pm.
Food vendors, funfair rides and stalls will be available on site, but the firework display will be free to watch.
Friends of Brook Field School Fireworks Display

The Red Oaks Firework Display in Blunsdon St Andrew, Swindon is ready to give the public a spectacular display of fireworks as well as providing a tasty BBQ along with refreshments.
This is the perfect firework display in Swindon for families with small kids.
Candy floss and glow-sticks will also be available to purchase.

Neston Fireworks is one of the most popular family-friendly fireworks displays in the Corsham area. A volunteer-run charity event for Neston Primary School. All proceeds from this event will go towards additional resources and events for the children of Neston Primary School.

Christian Malford Bonfire & Firework Display

The Village Bonfire and Firework Display has been running in the Village for the past 25 years plus. It has developed into one of the region’s biggest and best displays but still keeping its ‘Village’ feel.
The event even has its very own local fireworks and TV & movie special effects expert who has designed and developed fireworks over many years living in the village.
NEW Quiet Firework Display – A special lower-noise display for younger children, families and anyone who prefers a gentler experience. All the colour and excitement, just with less bang.
An Even Bigger Bonfire – Expect an incredible bonfire lighting with a spectacular “whoosh” moment… you’ll have to see it to believe it!
Dedicated Children’s Refreshment Stand – Easier access to soft drinks, hot chocolate, sweets, glow products and illuminated novelties.

Calne Bonfire & Fireworks

Calne’s much-loved Bonfire and Firework Display is set to return on Friday 7th November 2026 at the Beversbrook Sports and Community Facility. Widely regarded as one of Wiltshire’s top seasonal events, the evening promises a spectacular fireworks show.
Not only does the event boast a fantastic display, provided by Anytime Fireworks, but it also hosts Jennings funfair, live entertainment and much more.
In addition to the main display, ticket holders can enjoy live entertainment, music, and free children’s activities – all included in the ticket price. In addition, the popular Jennings Funfair will also be on site, with rides and attractions.
A variety of local food and drink vendors will be available throughout the evening, providing plenty of options to keep warm and well-fed.
