Town made three changes from the side that lost at Wimborne, with Ben Richards-Everton, Piotr Petrynski and Jack Witchard replacing Jac Poffley, Joel Odei-Larbi and Fiachra Pagel.
The game burst into life from the opening whistle, and the first real opportunity produced the opening goal. Marley Rose capitalised on a loose ball in the penalty area, flicked it over a defender and calmly slotted into the far corner to put Town ahead.

The lead lasted only two minutes as Stephen Walsh responded with a stunning long-range effort that struck both posts before crossing the line.
Town quickly looked to regain control and nearly did so when Petrynski’s cross from the left flashed across goal, just beyond the reach of both Tyreke Johnson Taylor-Crossdale and Dylan Jones. At the other end, Brandon Liggett headed wide from an Evesham corner.
The visitors restored their advantage soon after. Brad Selwood found Dylan Jones outside the area, and the midfielder’s low strike beat Brendan Beard to score his first goal in Town colours.

Selwood then went close himself, seeing a powerful effort deflected narrowly over the bar. Moments later, Rose was again involved, driving forward before providing the cross for Taylor-Crossdale to finish comfortably and make it 3-1.
The spell of Town dominance prompted an early Evesham change, with Josh Keyes replacing Brandon Liggett before half-time.
After a period of controlled possession, Town struck again on 37 minutes. Rose grabbed his second goal of the evening in spectacular fashion, curling a superb effort from outside the area into the top corner.
Evesham nearly made a strong start to the second half when Kai Churchley crashed an effort against the post. Town remained dangerous, with Marcon forcing pressure from a corner before firing a long-range effort narrowly wide.
The hosts pulled a goal back with 10 minutes remaining. Sopuru Obieri reacted quickest after Witchard parried an effort into his path, tapping home from close range.
Town finished the game on the front foot following the introduction of Felix Miles. The substitute linked up well with Rose in the closing stages, but Rose was denied a hat-trick by a crucial Evesham block as Town comfortably saw out an impressive 4-2 victory.
Goals: Rose (2), Jones, Taylor-Crossdale.
