The Roxi Foundation, along with the charities team of energetic volunteers are back again this Sunday, spreading fun for local families, as well as raising much needed funds for this hugely important local charity.

Put together by Roxi Foundation fundraiser Charlene Gilbert, this Sunday the Roxi love is coming to The Purton Redhouse pub, Church Street, SN5 4DT.

Speaking to Charlene, she said: “I’m doing this event to help the Roxi Foundation as I am a mum of SEN children. I know the struggles of fighting all the time to get people to listen to you and try and get the help. I want to help a family get a diagnosis for their children, to be able to have the support in place for school and in later life”.

The event will have lots going on, including over a dozen stalls, as well as stands from the Police, Fire Service, The Longevity Games, and even a dance performance from local dance school ‘Charlotte Johnson’s School of Dance & Musical Theatre’. If all of that wasn’t enough, there will be plenty of games and activities, including Hook a Duck, Guess the Marbles, Tombola and Guess the Ducks Name, along with a ‘Sensory Tent’ to take some time out from all the fun, food, hot drinks and of course theres the pub!

Talking about Sunday’s event, Charlene said: “I’ve had such great support for my first ever fundraising event, a big thanks to Purton’s Cllr Jacqui Lay who will be in attendance to draw the raffle, all the volunteers and stall holders, the police and fire brigade, and our event sponsors Bubbles Boilers and Swindon Signs. I look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday”.
