We are once again running a folky stream as part of the Swindon Shuffle and our first event is our fabulous Folky Shuffle evening. This evening is, as always, free but we do encourage you to donate to Prospect Hospice either via the QR code on the buckets or by putting some cash in the bucket.

We have some wonderful acts who are taking part in the Folky Shuffle – approximate timings are provided to help you grab a drink and a seat prior to an act performing. We also have a raffle (because there has to be a raffle when a folk club is involved) and proceeds from that will also go to Prospect Hospice.

The Community Ceilidh returns for a fourth year, run by Swindon Folk Club in partnership with the Swindon Shuffle.

Once more bringing music, direction and merriment is the Cowshed Ceilidh Collective who made sure we all had a fantastic time last year.

For a night of fantastic music and dancing, you can’t beat a good old-fashioned ceilidh. Jigs, reels and square dances will get everyone Shuffling! You’ll be dancing and laughing all night long.

Tickets are free but the venue has a limited capacity so you must book your tickets online in advance at Eventbrite.

Bring your own drinks (although there will be water and squash available to keep you hydrated). Swindon Folk Club also encourage you to bring your own non-breakable mugs/other drinking receptacles to cut down on plastic waste.
